The journey of Ainikkal Business Corporation began in 1960, when Ainikkal Lonappan Antony founded Oriental Timber Company. 1960 – The Beginning
Oriental Timber Company was established by Ainikkal Lonappan Antony, marking the start of the Ainikkal family’s entrepreneurial journey. The company quickly earned recognition for reliability, quality, and strong customer relationships.
1980 – Entering Manufacturing
Building on his father’s legacy, Ainikkal Antony Shaiju (A.L. Shaiju) expanded the family business into the construction materials sector. He established a Clay Roof Tile Manufacturing Unit at Pudukkad in partnership with his elder brother, creating new opportunities for growth and diversification.
1993 – Expanding Production
As demand increased, the family strengthened its presence in the building materials industry by launching an additional Tile Manufacturing Unit, enhancing production capacity and expanding its customer base across Kerala.
2003 – Strategic Growth
A major milestone was achieved with the acquisition of Great India Tile Factory. This strategic investment significantly increased manufacturing capabilities and reinforced the company’s position as a trusted name in the construction materials sector.
2010 – Brick Manufacturing Venture
Continuing its growth trajectory, the company established a Brick Manufacturing Unit in Palani on an 8-acre property that included agricultural land and a farmhouse. This expansion reflected the company’s commitment to industrial development, sustainability, and long-term investment.
2024 – A New Era of Diversification
Under the leadership of Ainikkal Antony Raphy (A.L. Raphy), Ainikkal Business Corporation entered a transformative phase of expansion. The company diversified into multiple sectors, including:
